π†π‘πŽπ”π 𝟏❟ π‘π„π†πˆπ’π“π„π‘ πŸ‘: Daily Routine and Frequency Adverbs

Hello! This is the beginning of the end... The last register! 

So this October 12th the first group taught about Daily Routines and Frequency Adverbs, but it's so funny/cute that they wore yellow lmao the duck group. Exciting! We started to teach more complex stuff. ;) 

First, they started showing today's agenda. 

  • Warm-up: Charades.
  • Daily routine & frequency adverbs. 
  • Frequency adverbs & daily routine matching/worksheet.
  • My daily routine.
  • Wrap up: Russian roulette. 

What's Charades? It's a game where different teams participate and their members try to communicate ideas, words, or actions using corporal language and gestures without using verbal words.

Students had a lot of fun playing this. Although I did not get the ideas lol. 

First topic: DAILY ROUTINE 

Once the warm-up finished, Noe started giving the class: daily routine vocabulary. Within this vocabulary, different phrases were included such as: Go to school, come home, go to bed, brush my teeth, work...



Second topic: FREQUENCY ADVERBS.

What I liked about this part of the class is that Noe took his time not only to explain it in English but also the uses of this topic in Spanish. Frequency adverbs take some time to be relatable enough to be understated and used. What are those? Well, simply: always, sometimes, often, rarely, hardly ever, etc. 

PRACTICE SECTION

As the practice section, the group decided to use a small test related to the topics just reviewed. For this, they instructed students to underline or circle the right answers for each question in the test, the questions apparently were based on a song, an Adele song which I don't know, to be honest. Gotta ask my friend Herrera to tell me what was the song, he is the biggest Adele enjoyer haha. 

I don't want to say false accusations but... is it me or the girl on the left is copying the other girl's answers? Heheh.

Once the activity finished, they started to share and comparate answers.
For the second activity, things changed a little bit. Students were asked to stand up, create groups, and discuss their regular activities using the vocabulary learned today. 








They finished talking, and colorful papers were glued to the whiteboard under the words: always, often, sometimes. In these pieces of paper, you could read different activities and the students were instructed to put under the labels "always", "often" and "sometimes" the activities that they do in the previously mentioned frequencies. 



This time, they were asked to write their own routine. AndrΓ©s asked some students to read aloud their responses. I didn't hear what they said because someone was chopping wood next to the classroom lmao.
