I loved how they implemented different techniques for this lesson. Students even practiced writing and listening skills during this class by using worksheets and media to give this lesson. For the second class, teachers taught about TIME! Gaby opened this class! I'm so happy to see her again. She was wearing a funny hat for a purpose... She said that this class would be Alice in Wonderland themed! The Class Just like the last class, this lesson was focused on a review of the previous classes BUT with a different perspective. Teacher Karla started her block by asking to the students about phrases about time such like: "El tiempo vuela" In English, we have: Once in a while, time's up, waste of time, on the last minute, running late, etc... What most characterized the class of this group was the oral aspect because from the beginning the teachers focused on introducing the topic in Spanish, mentioning the meaning of "there is" and "there are", allowing students to grasp its practical usage by encouraging them to ask questions about objects present in that space, in the classroom. This can be a topic that can be confusing for first-time students, but they knew very well how to explain the differences. I want to highlight the use of Spanish in this class because I think is very important! As teachers, is very important to know when to use our mother-tongue and when to use the target language. I liked Kenneth and Mauricio way to express. They both have strong and hard-to-ignore voices.
